Our client, based in Hitchin, is in search of a bookkeeper on a full time permanent basis.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Inputting of sales and purchase invoices as supplied by clients
- Entering of bank transactions from clients bank statements
- Reconciliation of bank, debtors, creditors and all other control accounts
- Inputting of salary information via journals
- Preparation and filing of VAT returns as required
- Preparation and filing of CIS returns as required
- VAT applications as and when required
- Software training as required for the client
- Dealing with day-to-day queries from clients
- Resolving transactions issues where clients are unsure or made errors
Software in use:
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 17:00. Pay is dependant on experience.
