Our client is looking to recruit a permanent experienced Mechanic. You will be managing a small workshop carrying out maintenance, repairs and servicing for various vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to run and expand the department. Experience of using diagnostic equipment is required.


  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs and servicing on vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions
  • Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times


  • College diploma or equivalent in motor mechanics
  • Proven experience as a mechanic
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy


  • Knowledge of engine repair, electrical systems, and brake systems
  • Familiarity with computerised diagnostic tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues

Hours of work: Monday to Friday. 09:00 - 17:30 hours. Ad-hoc Saturdays, when required 09:00 - 12:30 hours.

Annual Performance Bonus, on-site parking.
