The main purpose of the role is to act as a complete Recruitment Office Administrator, supporting all administration recruitment activities and assisting consultants in finding and contacting suitable applicants for temporary and permanent vacancies, this is broken down into the following sectors:-
Reception / Interviewing
You will be required to meet and greet all pre-booked visitors to the office in a friendly and professional manner. You may be required to actively participate and set up some online interviews. You will be working with the Consultants to ensure Applicants receive the correct paperwork and inductions, with some training you will be able to interview some candidates, particularly candidates applying for non -management positions.
You will be required to ensure that all activities are recorded on the company database accurately to ensure full traceability.
You are required to carry out the admin tasks for the branch to include referencing applicants, responding to email enquiries, filing, photocopying and any other administrative task required by the Directors of the business.
You will need to have a creative flair to be able to design some adverts for windows, social media and presentations as required. Some DTP experience would be advantageous.
Advertising & Social Media
From time to time you will be required to work on projects in conjunction with our sister company Enterprising Personnel Ltd to assist the daily marketing of the joint businesses on social media.
You will be using different media to advertise jobs, setting up new jobs on the database, matching candidates to vacancies, liaising with applicants to advise them of progress and outcomes, preparing CVs to standard format. You will be using c.v. search & job boards to advertise and search for applicants.
You are required to work in a support capacity to the Directors and Consultants within the team, who will be advising you on candidate matches for clients and client requirements. As part of a small team it is important that everyone is willing to carry out duties from time to time for the benefit of the team and the office to include, making drinks, collecting office shopping, taking post etc..
It is extremely important to find an applicant with the right personality fit. As a small team it is crucial that you are patient, a team player, able to be flexible and adapt to many different tasks required. Experience working in a fast paced environment will be useful. The successful applicant will be hard working, professional with an excellent work ethic and must have a sense of humour.
This position is to work 09.00 – 17.00 hours. Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Half an hour lunch break. This role does not allow home working, it is based within our offices where the team are based.
