Description
Our Client is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join their team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to specifications. Duties:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
- Select the appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for each job
- Load and unload materials onto the machine
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of bends
- Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with machinery
- Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Familiarity with press brake tooling and setup procedures
- Ability to fabricate and weld sheet metal components is a plus
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Skilled in basic math calculations for measurements and dimensions
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Hours:
Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00
Friday 08:00 - 16:00
Overtime
Overtime is paid after 39 hour worked
