Welder/Fabricator

Our client based in Biggleswade is looking to recruit skilled Welder / Fabricator proficient in Mig and Tig welding, as well as experienced in operating CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings to fabricate and assemble metal parts
• Perform Mig and Tig welding tasks with precision and quality
• Working with stainless steel, aluminium, brass, bronze
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and weld metal components
• Operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to specifications (CNC machining such as turning, milling, drilling and more
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specification
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production goals.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with hand tools, mechanical knowledge, and power tools
• Ability to weld and fabricate metal components accurately
• Proven experience in MiG and TIG welding techniques
• Knowledge of sheet metal work
• Proficiency in operating CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Working hours: 7.30am to 4pm (40 hrs), Monday to Friday
