Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Welder. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various welding tasks, including TIG and Stick welding, while demonstrating proficiency in fabrication and assembly processes. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal.

Duties

  • Execute TIG and Stick welding techniques to produce high-quality welds on various materials.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively in the fabrication of metal components.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication of products.
  • Conduct routine inspections of welds to maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use.

Skills

  • Proficient in TIG welding and Stick welding techniques.
  • Strong experience with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication.
  • Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
  • Experience in assembly processes within a manufacturing or workshop environment.
