Description
Our client is seeking a Deburrer / Metal Finisher to join their team. The role involves producing components to meet drawing tolerances and specifications efficiently and accurately, as required by both internal and external customer specifications.
The Role:
As a Deburrer / Metal Finisher, you will be required to deburr all work using handheld tools, and various machines. We will also need you to be able to do drilling, tapping & countersinking correctly from drawings.
Requirements:
- Experience with handheld tools i:e Angle Grinder, Drill, Air File.
- Proven experience in grinding and deburring.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Ability to use a range of measuring tools and equipment.
- Previously worked as a Deburrer, Metal Finisher or in a similar role.
- At least 1 year of experience in metal finishing and deburring.
- Ability to handle delicate parts with precision.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Team player as well as working with little supervision.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety.
- Some lifting will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bench fitting tasks including deburring, tapping to depth, part marking, polishing, filing, finishing, and assembling.
- Correctly interpreting engineering drawings
- Utilising a wide variety of machinery to help with achieving a good all-round finish to Stainless Steel parts.
- Drilling, Tapping, & Countersinking to drawings accurately.

Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 Friday 07:00 - 13:00
