Enforcement Officer
Would you like the opportunity to join a well-respected, established company, with a team ethos that values its staff, in the enforcement industry, who carry out the removal of trespassers from land and buildings across England and Wales, where no two days are the same?
Then this could be the role for you!
Our client based in Bedford is looking to recruit Enforcement Officers. Full training will be given over a 12-month period, you will be carrying out enforcement work covering all areas of the company’s operations, as directed by the Operations Manager/Appropriate Line Manager.

Salary: £28,000.00 p/a (£20.00 per hour on a rostered Saturday (if worked))
Training: 12 months of training, moving into a qualified Enforcement Officer position. You are required to complete your TCOG (Taking Control of Goods) Level 2 within 12 months. Upon successful completion of 12 month training salary rising to £29,500.00 per annum.
Hours: 40 hrs a week (Monday to Friday plus 1 in 4 weekends on a rota basis – Saturdays only)
Report to: Operations Manager
TCOG (Taking Control of Goods - Level 2)
Holidays: 28 days (Including statutory bank holidays)
Uniform/PPE: Supplied
6 months Probationary Period
On-going training supplied

Job Description:

Carrying out enforcement work covering all areas of the Company’s operations, removing trespassers from land and buildings as directed by the Operations Manager/Appropriate Line Manager.
To work as part of a team to ensure compliance with National Standards and other laws and regulations.
Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and ensuring relevant PPE is used, method statements followed, site-specific risk assessments carried out and all relevant paperwork completed.
Ensure all company policies and legal requirements are met.
To undertake any other duties commensurate with the post.
Some driving required

Mandatory requirements:

IT literacy and working knowledge of using technical products – Camera (still and video), body cam, iPad’s, mobile phone, Microsoft (Outlook, word, basic excel).
Clean driving licence (No offence for incorrect use of mobile, no drink/driving, no more than 6 penalty points).
Drive a manual car and automatic car.
DBS criteria met (previously CRB).
Working hours should not restrict the completion of duties. This requires the ability of flexible working to accommodate operational requirements.

Physically fit (able to be on feet for long hours and walk in different terrains I.e. fields, woods and car parks)

Highly desirable:

Industry experience in: HC, CRAR, Repo, Process Serving, Direct Action
Other appropriate experience e.g. security, police, armed forces
