Description
Our client is looking for an Administration Assistant to become an integral part of their friendly, dedicated, and enthusiastic administration team. In this role, you’ll provide essential support to the Landscape Architecture, Masterplanning, and Ecology teams within a busy and dynamic environmental consultancy practice.
Please note, the role will start 1st August and due to the location of the office, own transport (car) is essential for this role.
Duties to include:
- Provide support to the masterplanning, ecology, landscape and graphic design teams, including data entry into and manipulation of the software database (project and time management system), setting up new jobs records and inputting project status data.
- Produce monthly project reports for invoicing, job reviews and maintaining inhouse fee tracking system.
- Input sales invoices during busy periods and as holiday cover.
- Provide general office administration, including production and maintenance of documents and spreadsheets, document collation, printing, mailing, letter writing, proof-reading etc.
- Provide general support and holiday cover to the Business Operations Manager and Administration team.
- To competently use Microsoft office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams) and other software to produce/maintain documents, spreadsheets and databases.
- To adhere to Company policies and procedures.
Key skills:
- Previous administration experience (minimum 2 years)
- Confident, professional and able to work in an efficient manner
- Computer literate and willing to learn new programmes (Xero, Coretime and in house system)
- Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multi-task and to work to deadlines

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30-17.30 (1 hr unpaid lunch), 37.5 hours per week
