Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Litigation Secretary to join there legal team for a minimum of 2 months. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a solid understanding of the litigation process. This role is essential in providing comprehensive support to our legal professionals, ensuring that all documentation is prepared accurately and efficiently. The successful applicant will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional time management and communication skills.
- Utilise IT systems efficiently, including Microsoft Word and Excel, to create reports and manage data.
- Assist in the preparation of trial bundles and other essential materials for court appearances.
- Proven experience as a litigation secretary or in an administrative role within a legal environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in audio typing with excellent command of English grammar and punctuation (using Big Hand dictation services).
- Strong IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
