Description
Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. Working on the company fleet of vehicles and equipment including vans, forklift trucks and a range of utility type vehicles, plus lift platforms and telehandlers etc.
The right person will have a good all-round knowledge of mechanics, electrics and hydraulics. You must have the experience and ability to find and fix faults
Someone with previous agricultural, mechanical, engineering knowledge this would be advantageous.
Qualifications considered or relevant experience gained over the past 5 years:
Apprenticeship with NVQ levels 1/2/3. HNC & HND City & Guilds or Foundation degree or degree Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Mechanical Engineering.
You would need to bring to the workshop good attributes such as, good punctuality, attendance, enthusiasm and attitude.
It’s very important that you are an honest and very trustworthy person that can be relied upon.
You would be contracted to work 39-hour Monday – Friday with ½ hour lunchbreak.
Your rate is to be negotiated depending on experience.
