Description
Our client is seeking a proficient CNC machinist with experience working with manual lathes and milling machines etc. You must be able to manufacture parts to engineering drawings, also to samples and have an excellent eye for detail.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines or parts
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
Experience required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
- Ability to assemble and disassemble machine parts using hand tools
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance
- Familiarity with power tools used in machining operations
