Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Propeller Technician to join our clients team. The successful candidate will carry out the disassembly, cleaning, and preparation of propellers for inspection, following approved technical data and company procedures. The role reports directly to the Production Manager and may also receive instructions from the Maintenance Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- To carry out aircraft propeller or other associated components disassembly and cleaning, using standard and specialist hand tools and measuring equipment.
- To carry out Plastic Media (PMB) and glass blasting
- To process aluminium blade grinding
- The ability to work effectively within a small team with minimum supervision
- The ability to be responsible for their own work
- To have a strong work ethic and pride in their work
- To carry out any other reasonable task required by management
Person specification
The Propeller Technician should ideally have previous experience of working within an engineering background utilising general hand-tools. Aviation industry experience is not essential. Full on the job training can be provided.
Suitable candidate will have aspiration to work and progress within the industry. Through experience this job will give the opportunity to evolve and grow within the business in terms of technical competence.
Qualifications
Whilst no formal qualifications are required experience working with hand tools in the automotive or similar industry would be advantageous. If you have a hobby that involves mechanical disassembly that would also be seen as a desirable and transferable skill.

Salary: £28,000-£31,000 per annum
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00-17:00
