Our client is a leading international supplier of engineered fenestration components and access solutions to the construction industry. The Group designs and manufactures products that enhance the comfort, sustainability, security, safety and aesthetics of residential homes and commercial buildings. The portfolio of leading brands serves their markets through three regional divisions. They are seeking Production Operators for their manufacturing plant, situated in Henlow, Bedfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and successful company manufacturing high quality products.
Working hours per week = 37.5 not including lunch break
Hours of work: You are required to work a three shift system on a 6-week rotating basis:
- 06.00am – 14.00pm. Monday to Friday.
- 14.00pm – 22.00pm. Monday to Friday.
- 22.00pm – 06.00am. Sunday to Thursday.
£28082.00 pa (this includes a shift allowance per annum)
Main skills and responsibilities:
- To run machines and produce weather seals
- Replacement of raw materials to ensure continuous production
- Quality Control Checks on profiles
- To report potential quality issues to supervisor
- Continual learning of production processes
- Be aware of scheduling requirements and work to meet targets
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping
- To adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
- To report any unsafe acts or Health, Safety and Environmental incidents
Candidate requirements:

There is also the opportunity within the company, after you have completed your 3 month probationary period to train to be multi-skilled in other areas. Rewarded with an increment in salary and able to cover when required.

Overtime:
Saturday x 1.5 all day
Sunday x 2 all day
Anything over and above 7.5 hrs x 1.5 during the week
