Description
A small, friendly electronics and mechanical assembly company is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, populate, and wire electrical assemblies, panels, and enclosures using hand tools and automated equipment.
- Manufacture and terminate wiring looms and harnesses according to drawings, wiring schedules, and procedures.
- Carry out mechanical assembly, including component mounting, drilling, tapping, and sawing.
- Test completed products, record results, and assist with dispatch.
- Follow circuit diagrams, wiring schedules, mechanical drawings, and written procedures accurately.
Person Specification:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electronic or mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, wiring schedules, and mechanical drawings.
- Experience assembling and mounting components, terminating wires, and building precision mechanisms.
- Knowledge of engineering materials and modern manufacturing techniques is desirable but not essential.

Working hours: 9.00 am to 2.00 pm, Monday to Friday
Hourly pay: £14–£15 depending on experience
